Gazza Burke, a native from the Washington DC/ Prince George’s County area, began his golf journey as a junior at Langston and Haines Point Golf Course. It all started with a five-piece set and Hook-A-Kid On Golf classes on Saturday mornings. He loved the game so much that he would caddie and clean clubs to get free range balls and rounds. Under the guidance of the local pros, his skills grew, which granted him an opportunity to represent DC in the US Youth Games and win several tournaments until his senior year.

Over the years, the clubs grew some dust, but his love for the game returned in his mid 20s. From playing casually with meetup groups, the passion and competitive juices quickly started to flow again. He would join the Golfweek Am Tour and the Under Armour Am Tour, qualifying for Nationals every year.
